Really really bummed I missed out on this. being the new guy here it would have been great to meet face to face many of the great members that make this site so damn awesome.
My moto trip down to the redwoods took 2 days longer than planed and was a death march home.
Really wanted to get some ideas for my bk-2 LEATHER sheath.

Hope you all are having a blast rain or shine.

Sarah and I blasted in about 8 oclock last night and left this morning.

JD, thanks for bringing up those sheaths!!!! They are really awesome!!! (thread to follow)

Sarah thought it was really cool that there were some kids her age, even though she laughed at the antics of the adults more.

None of you, Not a one, thought Sarah and I would make it LOL, even though we said we would. 5 hour drive there, 2.5 back, but we made it!

Home and unloaded now. Got the knives wiped down with oil, gear drying in the garage and even managed to get some soap applied to ourselves :) Billy and I had a complete blast!!!!! Weather coulda been worst so I am not complaining :) Got to see some old friends and meet a few new friends. Ethan was fun to chat with as always. Everything just flowed nicely. The crew put on a helluva nice event. Thanks to all who came! Thanks to Ethan and KaBar for all the cool gear and knives too!!! :D
 
Made it home. Whew...I'm whooped. What a great weekend!

Awesome-O and RRR passed us on the interstate.
When we caught back up, Beardlove mooned them.
Just thought I'd share that.

I'll try to get some pics of the gathering up tomorrow.

LOL, breadlove and his walking stick.. great fun! Just got home and tossed everything in the garage. I'll put everything away tomorrow, time for a shower and a movie!
 
I'm so glad that I was able to make it down this time. it was so what I needed! it was so awesome seeing all the familiar faces again and meeting new ones! I think we turned my buddy into a Becker nut. he's already telling me what he's getting next. this spring I will be sure to bring more than just one sheath, I promise! I'm really looking forward to all the pictures that were taken. thanks to everyone who made it out. you all made it a really good time! I'm not going to name off everyone I met but it was awesome meeting you all. :-)

I too made it back to apartment and did a wet stuff dump on the balcony and in the washer. I really enjoyed time meeting everyone and thanks for making me feel like part of the group so quickly (how the hell was I supposed to know about grabbing his "walking stick"... LOL). Hope I will be working on the other side of the country when the next gathering happens, but if I am anywhere close I will be hauling my butt back there for the fun.
