Does anybody collect the twin sets?

Best,
Haebbie

only thoes lucky-u enught to find them! :p
nice set and great leather !

I found the set in Austria and I paid 70 bucks plus shipping. I think the value of the 116 Caper is higher than I paid for the whole set. What do you think?

Best,
Haebbie

Nice Herbert!.....And you are right, You got a great value for your money! It would be hard to find a 116 such as that for $70. No matter my Friend, if I recall correctly, you have the 100 series phenolic Buck Knives pretty well completed ;)

Dave

My newest addition.

That is very nice.

I can get the Cabela's Tracks Series Limited Edition Knife like that in a Vanguard like yours for $124.99 or in a 110 for $94.99 through the Cabelas club credit card right now. Is that a good deal?

Exotic handles made from Desert Ironwood to add a classic look
Laser-cut skeletonized whitetail deer profile on the 420HC blade
Limited to 500 per style
Includes a presentation box, leather sheath and certificate of authenticity

I am not a collector and it would be a shame to use something like that. I can only imagine the gunk that would get trapped in that cutout.

Yes thats a good deal. Sorry I havent been on this area since I posted the picture. I bought mine off ebay for I think it was $72 with shipping but the price at Cabela is $169.99. I really dont think it would make a good user though with the cut out. As you said stuff would get gunked up bad. I would get just a regular old vanguard or a Cabela AG Vanguard for a user.

Nice herd of Buck's you have there JB:thumbup:...I wondered where that stripped cat of mine wandered off to:eek::D
Let's see some more of you guys pics.
