I've never been much of a stockman guy. I've had a few over my knife-carrying life, and I have a couple good ones now. But they've never really grabbed me the way a two-blade jack has. Something occurred to me this morning, an idea for a one-month challenge. For all of June, I'm going to put away this peanut I've been carrying, and instead carry this U.S.-made 34OT Old Timer stockman:
Beginning Wednesday, I'm going to put 'er through the paces and see what it is you stockman loyalists see. I might even spey an animal or two if necessary!
I wonder if any of you guys will join me? For the month of June, grab a pattern out of your knife box that you've owned but never really carried on a day-in, day-out basis. Maybe you've got a trapper in the tool box, or a toothpick in the sock drawer, or a congress laying around somewhere. Whatever it is, try EDCing something out of the ordinary for the entire month of June. Who's in?
