Official Knock Off Thread

I just found out that I will have a "mean" pony tail in 2030 but not much else. :(

:p I'll just shave it and sport the Mr. Clean look. :D

I'm weak when it comes to INFI...(Because of Tyrkon I'm selling my FFFBM to get an AK-47 from Skunk before he sells out I REALLY WANT A TAN ONE)...I couldn't wait that long!! At least everyone has some time to save up :D

DO IT! DO IT! Then you can use it when we all go hunt down that payload. ;)

Did I say MEAN ponytail? It could ALSO be a WICKED COMBOVER

YES!!! That's what I'm thinking :D....I brought a disposable machete last time and it wasn't heavy enough...I destroyed it...same with my folding shovel :p

Just saw one on Ebay...they are selling it as Busse Combat, but once you check out the details, the seller states that it's a knife made by the seller that was inspired by Busse Combat. It even has the talon hole. I wonder if he got Jerry's permission before attempting to make a buck off Jerry's name?!

I saw that one. In his original thread I believe he claims he is not going to sell it but that he could not afford a real Busse thus made an "inspired" one himself. That is alright. But now that he is selling it I am not sure what rules apply. But I am looking for more "production line" crap like the MTech that we can buy cheap and easy to play with.

id say that one is more of an homage to busse combat. he has busse combat in the title so it gets the hit when a search is done, im guessing, then adds the disclaimer to remove confusion.

im not sure what rules ebay has that may have been violated, but its not a blatant rip off like the mtech, who rip off everyone then market and sell knives as their own.

+1 Agreed!

The guy who made that posted it here on B/F first. I saw that in the Makers area and there was some question before as to wether or not it was a "copy".

If you cared, you could report it as "Keyword Spam" which it clearly is. It's like all those auctions for "New speakers not Sony or Bose"

I was over at a friends house the other day and saw a rubber knive.
We both work in the film industry and I asked him which show he made that for. He is a props fabricater. He told me a story about how he got into a conversation with the security guard at the main gate, poor guy works long hours in a little booth for weeks at a time, and the guard asks my friend what exactly does he do. '' I make things that are not what they seem''. Well the guard asks if he could bring some knives in to see if they could be used in the flick. Brandon says sure lets see what you got. The guard comes in with either a 3 or 4 knive set. Brandon made the full set with the biggest one being made 3 different ways. Full rubber, rubber with an insert spine for stiffness and one with a spring loaded handle. The prop master loved them, Director as well. For all I know, the guard is a member on this website, Ralph, what's up? The only knive Brandon has is the big all rubber one, I will try to get a picture soon and post it. The movie is "Sin City''.
