Hi Dan would like to get 2 Nessie on in 3v and 1 in 5160. let me know if i can still order. the link is down but looks like there are still two spots open.

I finished up 3 more over the weekend.

Will be heat-treating another 4 this evening.

Progress!!!



List of those finished:

Ron D (farseeker) - BCM = PIF
James W - BCM + leather sheath - PIF
Walt K - NCM + leather QD sheath - PD 200


Those getting theirs heat-treated this evening:

Mark W - Ironwood + brass pins = PIF
Emanuele P - BCM = PIF
Slim S - Ironwood = PIF
Jeff P - GCM + horiz leather sheath - PIF
 
Holy Crap - these take sooooo long to grind and use 2 belts each! I gotta charge more next time around...LOL

Hey Dan,

If there is still room on the interested list, I would like to get on board for a 3V Monster Nessie with Green Canvas Micarta Handle. I will be interested in a sheath as well, but I'm not sure of the specifics yet. I will be able to put a deposit down in a couple of weeks. Please let me know how to proceed from here... I'd love to get my hands on one of these beasts one day soon!

Dan is there any room left on the Monster Nessie 3V list? I have asked several times and it's been a month with no answer.
 
Yes - there is room on all lists for the Monster Nessie.

My heat-treat oven has been down for a week - I am still repairing it. Hope to have an update for you today/tomorrow.


I did get the other 4 heat-treated the day it failed, so fortunately, I was able to get them glued up. Will post progress on those once they are roughed out.

Likewise Dan, I asked a while back also. let me know so i can send you the deposit for a 3V one also. I love the Nessie i got from you, i can just imagine a monster one, lol

I never heard back, but I was able to figure it out on my own by digging through some old threads. If you have paypal, you can send a payment to dan @ kosterknives dot com

Other than paypal, I'm not sure how he is accepting payments since the link is down.
