Dan, just sent you final payment. Let me know when you get it. I have decided not to get a sheath at this time. I'm gonna try it in a Spec Ops combat master first to see how that works.

Dan, I'm number 13 on the O1 budget list. I paid in full (including international shipping) on 21st October 2008.

The list that you had in this thread before had me listed as "paid in full/intl shipping", but the new list in the link has me as owing $30.
Please adjust the list and send the knife when it is complete. I don't want a sheath.

Not yet, powernoodle.

I haven't shipped any Budget BushMasters because my stencil has not yet arrived for me to etch the blades with "O1" to distinguish them from the 3V blades. I expect it to arrive today or Friday. At that point I'll ship it out.

The update page is correct as showing them finished but not yet boxed up.

Hope that helps explain the delay.

Also, quite a few of the soon-to-be-owners-of-BCM BushMasters have multiple orders (finished knives that won't be shipping till' their brothers are ready). Everybody else that is paid in full and their knife is finished - theirs gets shipped on Monday.

I managed to sneak out into the shop long enough to glue up 3 more in GCM.



And now today I have 5 NCM and 3 GCM roughed out.

I got mine.:D

Damn is it a nice blade! Bigger than I had imagined, but still light in the hand. Not an easy feat I'd imagine. Balances at the first solid pin, between my first and middle finger. The spine is considerable, but the edge is nice and thin. If I can nitpick, the handle has a bit of a squarish feel compared to my Bushcrafter (not the current run), but I suppose that's somewhat due to the height of the handle. Not uncomfortable, but possibly worth mentioning to some. I imagine using it for years and years though. Being 3V it ought to last like a champ through all kinds of use. Nice work Dan. I'm glad I chose to get in on this run even through all the twists and turns.
