Hey gang!
Please post here if you are planning to come to the shindig. Please let me know if you need a campsite and roughly when and how long to expect you.

We will have a practice/certification day Friday 10:00 AM for anyone who would like to come and then probably some pizza. Yearly dues for Bladesports is $40.

Saturday, the Bladesports cut will start at 11:00 AM with a mandatory safety meeting at 10:30. The Outlaw Cut will follow. There will then be knives for sale and dinner. I need to start getting things prepared.

My wife and I (as well as our small dog Piper) are planning to drive up to Mooresville Friday morning 10/25 for Saturday's CPK Outlaw Cut and gathering and we will return back to Atlanta on Sunday 10/27.

People who are not certified are still able to compete in the outlaw cut correct?

Asking for some who might not make it by Friday

Not familiar with the area, but were any of the hotels in the area affected?

What hotel are most people staying at? Trying to convince my brother to go since I don't want to drive 10 hours solo.

The hotels are all in great shape. Right now they're full of people fleeing from the damaged areas. I would imagine in 4 weeks the rush will be over. We were fortunate that Our area lost a few limbs but nothing major.
 
I’ll be flying in Thursday night and staying in yoko yoko ’s hotel bathroom until Sunday 🤣. Please count me in for Friday’s training and both cuts on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing all of you fine folks !
