Official Rusty Memorial Hurricane Extra Mag Thread

Ok.......with all the mag being mentioned..........i would guess a khukri would be the last weapon.............after if and only if...that every mag is expanded..........

which will be your KHUK ?

Well,

Why are you limiting yourself to one?

Hanshee (Check)
BGRS (Check)
Sirupti 15inch (Check) (check) (check)
15 inch AK (Check) (check)

 But what if the situation warrents that you can only carry one ?

Which one would it be..........??

I would go for the BGRS from your choices...........

based on the fear factor................. :D

People got to fear THAT monster.......... :D

If there is room for one, then you can find room for two.

We need to know if one is eliminating waves of looters or parting the Sea. Dividing waves of water is largely ceremonial. A last grand gesture. The little Paper cutter could do that. Now, if criminals, meth amplified looters, are attempting to remove your lawful property during a time of natural or terrorist crisis, which khuk (s) would be best?

As always, I think individual preference rules. My 19" chit or the 20" Movie Model or both.... And who could forget the Rose?

munk

edit- Oh, and Zombies? Are we making adequate plans for the Zombie elements?

Only course Brother Munk, only the dog splitting element of our population would forget the Zombies. Come on, I mean that would be like leaving the AK at home...

Tut tut; proper attention will be given to the drooling Klan. I'd think 20" a minimum blade length with anything undead.

Yeah the Movie model just looks intimidating!

i think it would depend on our battle plans as well as the decomposition rate of said zombie mob. That is to say are we going to arm 20 biggest and toughest with 22" GRS' and rotate them out in waves of 10 to crush the skulls of the zombie scum, or are we going to arm our martial members with Gelbus, Kobras, and Chits to gracefully (some might even say beautifully) dispatch wave after wave their razor dance of death?
Also, if the zombies are fully fresh and gaining numbers, then we need to think about speed and stopping power. They will be coming in fast and dropping them will be difficult with a light blade. I'm thinking WWII's and M43s. If the zombies are staggering in and falling apart into piles of pus, Bruise and I will arm ourselves with Biltons and go out and poke them a bit.

Just remember that too light and thin a blade will not sever and will probably stick. That's gonna be a problem if the Zombies are swarming. Naturally, a stuck blade is just one of the reasons why you should have a entire pile of khuks at your feet, as well as many assorted magazines and firearms.

Which brings us to the inevitable next question.

Whats the best lube for kuks stuck in zombies ribcages?

"Whats the best lube for kuks stuck in zombies ribcages?"

Assuming the standard twist n jerk did not work? A minimum of a size ten boot, shotgun blast, or slug from 41 mag in affected area. This will provide sufficient lubricant for release of khuk.

....uuu eehhmmm.

"remember that too light and thin a blade will not sever and will probably stick "
Even if the blade is moving at a much higher speed ?
Too bad I never got a chance to meet Rusty, we have some similarities
Like my version is " anything worth having is worth having a backup" lol
My first 2 khukuri's where from Rusty's estate sale, both shop 1's, a 18.5" village sirupati w/ chainpuri handle, and his 17" village chainpuri, from reading the archives I beleive this is THE one he was always refering to, it fits me like a glove esp my left hand, its wider than my other chainpuri's, Rusty & that chainpuri must of had an influence on me,Now I got 8 chainpuri's plus 2 biltons & the sirupati w/ chainpuri handles lol

I'm damn glad you got those khuks Tom, because it sounds like they found the right guy.

Ballistol.

I believe that a sword would be more appropriate for zombies than a khukuri, but the khukuri has more uses than just combat. My personal choice would actually be my CS Grosse Messer (you can actually chop a phonebook in half with one, that was one of the first things that I tried with it) unless I needed a free hand. And if I needed that free hand...

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the tarwar yet? I can't prove it (yet) but I have a feeling that cutting zombies down was one of the design criteria.

The falcata, of course, is in a zombie-destroying class of its own. I'm thinking that Nasty could probably get two in one swing with his...

The Tarwar, of course. Thick blade. Just long enough. Thanks Satori. We need you here.

Obviously, Nepal was invaded by Zombies in prehistory........
