Official take the "scout" into production-thread.

A fixed blade CRK is definitely on my list of must haves...This is the one I would want. Count me in.
 
I was actually considering buying a fixed blade, and was mulling over the OPL selections.

Since seeing this one though, it's the one I want.

I'd buy it. Right size, shape, everything I'm looking for in my ideal CRK fixed blade.

What say you, CRK? :D

By rough count I think we have demand for 32+ Scouts here. That probably translates to a minimum commitment of at least 25 pieces, which makes a decent production run I would think. I wonder how much of an effort it would be to tool up for this design; my hope would be that it would not be a huge effort. After all, there is a Scout built in to each and every Ubejane!
Let me propose to our friends at CRK that they make a run of 100 Scouts, with the first 50 pieces serialized and offered first to the members of this forum! I am sure that CRK's dealer network would readily absorb the remainder of the run! Oh, and, Please?
 
Maybe Chris and Anne could offer those serialized Scouts to the folks in this thread in the order in which they posted. As long as we're speculating....

This forum, by the way, would be a great way to introduce new models, test new ideas, and gather input on field use.
 
Haven't spent much time on this forum, but I love my Sebenza... Maybe it's time for a fixed blade like this! :D
 
At this moment the postcount is pretty much a good indication of how many of those knives would probably be sold the second they leave the CRK shop!
And since this thread started only a couple of days ago and only on this forum,that's not a bad result!
