Carothers Field Knife - the original one, maybe the third run as it’s Delta 3V and not 3V or A2 ( I’m not an expert so please correct me if I’m wrong ). Knife has been sharpened by prior owner and the plunge line / sharpening choil has a little stone strike resulting in some scuffs. The edge is decent.. I’d personally leave it alone until it needs to be sharpened. Scales are black G10 and feel great. The scales do leave a little to be desired with regard to traction.. a thin layer of hockey tape will work. Sheath is perfect, zero rattle, excellent retention ( were these sheaths made by Dozier knives ? ). Knife is in excellent user condition , not a safe queen, not mint and by no means does it show any signs of abuse. I’m going to ask a little less than I paid and the price will be firm. I believe the condition to be excellent but it’s got a few scuffs and scratches besides the evidence of a sharpening. Ready to work.
