Well, I just got my Randall Model 16 Fighter last week. I should be getting my Tanto Sebenza tommorow (they said it was shipped), so I figured "Hey, I've got enough knives for awhile".

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOo, I just saw a picture of the new Camillus / Terzuola CQB-1 (drool) and all I could think is "Gotta have it".

What am I gonna do? I think I need professional help (though think of all the knives I could buy with the money I'd be spending on a shrink). If my wife finds out she'll kill me.

BTW, are the CQB-1's out yet? He, he, he!
It's better to burn out, than it is to rust!

I wish I could help. I had no plans whatsoever to buy a Tanto Sebenza, but I saw one yesterday...

Good thing I don't have the funds for the Crawford Janus I also saw (Apple Coral scales, Damasteel blade and spacer, sweet filework and I loved the bolster lock).

ya know what's cool? When you've just figured out that there's no way you can swing the cash for the custom you're after, and the maker e-mails you to tell you he takes credit cards! Ooooh boy, the American Way!

If your vife kills you with one of your knives..... then you will have the ultimate knife experience, right?

Give in to it- make peace with your demons & start putting in some overtime- When it has you, it has you- so you might as well get rid of those feelings of guilt. (just lie down on the couch & I'll look after those knives for you...) The more you fight it, the worse it will get. Deny yourself the pleasure of a nice sharp new knife & it will eat at you. So just roll with it & buy what you can afford, learn how to do some creative bookkeeping to hide purchases from the "Home Office" & when you keep all of your knives in one place, it's real easy to keep sneaking new ones in: "They All Look The Same To Me". Hello, my name is Michael & I'm a Knifeaholic...
