now that there is non cracking handles on the Spyderco Bushcrafter, i bought one. Nice smooth polished G10 handles, feels very nice in the hand. The knife is a LOT heavier than i thought it would be, i was expecting a thin featherweight cheap crappy Mora knife in weight and design. I'm happy to say i was quite surprised at the build of the knife. Very nice leather sheath too. It still will not replace my "goto" woods knives, my choppers, military/tactical knives.

you also will not catch me batoning. Thats what my axe is for. :p

will have some action pics in the woods tomorrow, but for now here is some bling shots

:D am I part of the clique now? :D

Nice! That is still the most comfortable blade I've ever had in hand. Like it was melts into your hand.

I'm so jealous...payday is in 4 days, but i think warriors will be sold out by then :( Enjoy it B5! Looks like it will be a super functional bushcraft knife..I have been leaning toward the traditional ways lately...

I'm surprised you say the knife feels heavy. Perhaps it's handle-heavy because of the dense G10.
Looks like an awesome knife. I may put one in my cart. I've been looking at a very similar knife lately, the Enzo trapper. Essentially the same blade with micarta grips. I'm sure either would make a great bush blade.

Enjoy Bushman:)

Dang, nice piece. Definitley a lil surprised you picked up something like that:p. They look super comfy, that's for sure.

It's okay, bushiekins. I don't generally baton blades that short, either. I prefer something in the 5 to 6 inch range. I also find it far safer than using an axe for kindling. But hey, I've only got ten fingers left.....

(It does look like a very nice knife purchase. I'm glad they fixed the handles. It should balance somewhere in the index/middle finger void space, looking at it?)

drool! same here, i just got my bhk bushcrafter last monday. i'm loving the scandi grind!

VERY well balanced. The knife feels GREAT in the ahnd, i cannot put it down.

It has so far slayed thirteen cardboard boxes and gotten sharper as a result. I cannot wait to get it out into the woods tomorrow
