I scored one just like it in the for sale forum here a few months back (but with kydex sheath instead of leather).
Definitely a keeper!

Is the handle very thick? Will it fit smaller hands (glove size 8)?

Yup thats my size and the knife is super comfortable! Mine is older than the one in the pictures but the grip dimensions looks almost exactly the same.
