I'm confused even further really by this post."Knives" plural?"Sold"?I thought this was a contest to giveaway a knife Jerry posted a pic of in another thread.This is the post you said would explain the santaganzaa giveaway right?I am new around here but now I feel dumb as to wtf is going on.Please help me understand.

I thought my post was pretty clear.

They are "sold" because the shipping cost is not included - you have to actually pay for that.

But dont fret, its tax deductible since its considered a gift :thumbup:

You don't want to listen to this guy...he's the sneakiest of them all. Never trust a perpetually half-pickled mad INFI scientist.

Fortunately, there are nice people like me to help you. If you write a script for a screen-scraper and point it at bussecompanystore.com's order page, you can auto-check for the new knife update as soon as it posts (make sure you filter for the FREE indicator in the price column), and you will probably get the second order in (I will be first).

There is no free INFI, INFI is an addictive substance the more you get of it the more you need it, even after scoring the $2k+ knife for free you'd soon buy 10 $500 knives, RUN while you still can young ones, it'll only get worse from here. Leave us behind we are hopeless (I believe some people here are melting INFI and are injecting it directly into their blood streams) There is no hope for us who have tasted the nectar of gods.

If you choose not to heed my words, be aware the HOG FU masters will give you a hand and help you of the floor...on their way back from the trough, where the INFI is no more.

I guess I cant understand a game or contest without any, well anything clear.I cant get a straight answer from anybody about anything.Why is that fun for anybody?I am to be made to feel like a chump for asking a legit question and I definitely dont feel welcome at all here at the Busse forums.Sorry I am not down with the whole condenscending type attitude towards new people over here maybe I will just go back over to the RAT forums where almost 99% of the time someone will be happy to give you some good/friendly info to help a brother out when he inquires.... you feel me at all?Yes, my first post over here was in this thread about hopefully winning a knife but thats only because I dont own one yet and just discovered these wonderful knives so I came over here to try my hand at winning one but still its unclear as to what exactly is going on here with this knife giveaway.I just dont get it ....still.

Certain whiskeys have a bit of a delicate molecular structure (don't ask me how I know this, but its about all I remember from back in chem when we studied whiskey) and by introducing water to them you can actually break that structure. Its not as common with younger whiskeys, but its far more common with longer aged whiskeys. You need to be VERY careful with aged whiskey as if its a brittle molecular structure by adding a single drop of water to it your going break it and get damn near tasteless stuff.

(And were skipping the long and boring lecture on congeners and moving on now...)

Fun fact...Get some high proof whiskey and put it in a thin walled glass...Add some water to it...Then pick up the glass after a few seconds...Glass is hot/warm..Little bit of a reaction going on

End Product = near flavorless whiskey

Also just as a side note, ice actually dulls the flavor of whiskey/scotch and it kills the scent. A true connoisseur will tell you to do a thin walled glass and a drop or two of water to unlock the drink as well as warm it (using the heat from your hand) which will actually increase the "bouquet" thats released.

I'm not a connoisseur and I prefer a chilled whiskey, depending on what I'm drinking I'll either prechill it or stone it. But it doesn't matter with what type of whiskey your drinking...When it comes to adding water its ALWAYS measured in drops.

Actually everyone here is really helpful, friendly, and supportive...99% of the time. The one exception being these ganzaaaa sales/give aways. Stick around, Jerry will post instructions.
