Oh no! I lost my peanut!

Man that stinks. Literally now.
I do agree with the "not knowing where it is is terrible" sentiment though. It seems that all of the knives I love the most go missing never to be seen again. It was that way with my TL-29, a few tactials, and my original first knife. Got a replacement for the first knife, but it's not the same.
Thankfully that hasn't happened with my 'Nut yet, although I did get a scare one time, ended up finding it in a cranny of our truck I didn't even know existed.

When you get the money for a new 'Nut may I reccomend going a bit south to a place in Dixon called Dixon Hardware? Great little mom and pop hardware store that has good people working it and sells Case knives. Worth the trip for me at least, I dunno about you though. Look for the Stihl sign in the main part of town.
