Oh no you didn't, OH YES I DID!

Is Spyderco ever going to produce with the orange & black blade or are they limited by the small run on orange altogther??

Thanks for the feedback guys, a few people on the forum expressed an interest in this combo, and I was lucky enough to have the materials on hand to make it happen, enjoy. ;)

Looks great. It's tough to photograph that orange color, I'll bet yours looks outrageous in person. I like the black clip too. The silver clip looks great on the knife but really stands out on your clothes.

That was my thought, was the liner-lock spot on?
I sorta figured there was some fitting of individual parts, at the factory?
So did the liner just lock right up, as well as factory fitted?

I don't notice any difference in lock up. I swapped the locks and blades together so they matched the same as they came from the factory.

My black bladed Millie seemed to lock tighter than the orange one in stock trim anyways. Probably because the tolerances are reduced by the DLC coating on the blade making it slightly thicker than the non-coated blade???

If you plan on performing the swap, just keep the blades and locks paired, you should be ok.

I won't be doing the swap, because I don't have a black blade Millie and it would mess up the collector value of the sprint run.
But it does indeed look good with the black blade and clip.

I would like to see a black bladed foilage handled Millie, that would look awesome too.

I don't own a D2 Millie though, or another black blade one either. :)

I once owned a Military (S30V/CF) but sold it because it was just too honkin' big.

But these photos make me want to go out and buy 2 Militarys and do the same thing. That just looks awesome.

Oh boy. I have to do that!!! It looks so cool.

The Goblin comment above is classic too, lol.

As for the collector factor.... if that is really your thing, than so be it. Would be awesome to have that setup and actually use it.
