Dude,
At times like these...the best response is to treat it with the least bit of attention as possible...
Give it the old Alfred E. Nueman? Newman? approach.
The "What are you looking at" grin...will suffice...
If somebody has anything to comment aboutyou carrying your prefferred tool, shrug and go on about your business...
The more you feed into the whole "big blade paranoia" the more you feed into somebody else's idea of PC...
It's no big deal...no pun intended.
Use it...keep it in camp...for what it us used for...and move on.
Making a big deal out of this or any other camp tool...gun, shovel, axe...
...just plays into the hands of folks who just don't/won't ever really get it.
Act repsonsibly...with understatement at all times...and for God's sakes...
never...EVER...utter thoose words that make me go into the hyper GAG
reflrex...:barf:
"You call that a knife?...now that's a knife!" as you pull it out to trim your fingernails....or whatever....
That kind of rookie/BS showmanship is what gets knife/gun users into trouble and makes us all look like arseholes....
And it gives the "ANTI'S" proof positive that we are all Nut cases that need to have legislation to keep us under control.:thumbdn:
Ok...so sue me...I went on a tear here....I haven't been on line for reals...in a long time...I needed a fix...
