Looks cool! What are the specs?

Raining,

I wanna say the steel is forged 1080, with cocobolo slabs, and all good-looking... I'm going to post a more complete review (and specs) when she arrives. I'm going to be watching the mail box.......

oooohh... you lucky dog.. you scored that.. that thing is sooo cool...

You need to put a choker chain on that thing and tie it up before it gets out and scares the neighborhood children.

Congrats! :thumbup::cool: Keep us posted.

I heard it was 1/4 thick and had a 13 inch blade on it (I believe, or at least close to that)

Can't wait for the review.

Wow, I think that might well be the nicest I've seen...very cool !!!!

Pit - It is one of those blades that I wanted from the first time I saw it.....

Very hefty looking blade there, I'll be interested to see the review.

Nice score mate, functional and a looker.

Man, that should be a chopping monster!

Bruce really did a great job on that! I particularly like the hammer marks (I think) on the blade.

Brandon - I think they are hammer marks, the blade is forged.

That is a beauty of a chopper! Great score M~

I like it!

Thanks Joe.

Sweet, you'll be having fun with that!

Oh yeah!

That is some serious steel. I wouldn't want to get in the way of that. Mac

Good news. Ilbruche saw it and e-mailed me, he wants to make pants for it:thumbup: Sounds like a winning combo.... I'm in mail-box watching mode.....

Done up from a sketch I sent to Bruce. Mine is forged .25" L6, 12" blade, 6" inch handle, coco slabs.

Have another coming from Bruce before too long of another sketch I sent him - this one a wee bit smaller and different shape which I will putting the slabs on (African black-wood this time) to go along with a bernie garland bushie blade I am handling in the same material.

Bruce is a damn fine craftsmen, I own 3 - soon to be 4 of his blades and love them all to death. Hope to keep him busy for a long while :)

Klammer,

Thank you for designing that blade, I really like it. I hope you don't mind my asking Bruce to make another... Mine might be L6 as well, truth is I don't know. Do you have any action shots of your original?

Bruce also seems like a real decent guy to do business with. I hope to deal with him again....
