• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Oh, what a beautiful morning,

Fortunately, I no longer spend time watching television, and so I've been spared the Geico commercials. :D

Lots of female snapping turtles on the move this time of year. See them quite frequently myself South of you Esav in Monmouth cty. Today I was out running errands and saw 13 whitetail yearlings all together in a herd crossing through yards and grazing laws at 1730hrs. Stopped the car and wished I had my camera to video them. Only 1 looked good enough to take, the rest were scrawny, as yearlings tend to be after the Winter. Otherwise they looked healthy, but surprisingly thin. I say surprisingly, because they were in Rumson, where the landscaping is multimillion dollar stuff and acres of lawn to eat. So why so scrawny?
