Pictures to follow.

Due to a "few" drinks and some horse playing. I ended up with a Spyderco Tuff jabbed into my forearm tonight. Hey, what are friends for if not for stabbing you. But this pales compared to the impending surgery I face. A staple from my previous ACL reconstruction has been backing out of my tibia and loosened to the point the Achilles tendon that was used developed enough slack to where it got shredded in my knee. Soooooo now I face a revision reconstruction. BUT first surgery will be taking "plugs" from my hip to bond to the holes in my tibia and possibly my femur, depending on what the doc sees after he opens up my knee. Then 2-3 months after that, I will have my hamstring sliced to use as a new ACL. What fun I will face in the next few months........

But this is delayed due to open wound on my arm.....from my friend. What a turd

WOW! I've had some pretty crappy friends over the years, but I've yet to have one stab me...... AT LEAST they didn't stab you in the back......LITERALLY.......not as the saying goes. I wish you the best and hope for a speedy recovery!

Ouch! Hope you're not a 49ers fan, that would just suck! :p

In all seriousness, hope you heal up quick and get through the surgeries with no issues.

I hope the surgeries go well for you Jason!. Hmmm...young guys playing with knives.....

I know how you feel.........so I'm at a gun show right, my buddy picks up a gun (can't remember brand/model) proceeds to field strip it and then put it back together.....lol didn't even ask to handle it..

Get well and good luck in surgery!

Thanks for the nightmares I will be having tonight. Good luck with your surgery. Many smoke signals from Oklahoma.

WTF?

Sorry to hear about all that Jason, heal up soon

Damn...

I'm starting not to trust surgeons... On a side note I've been practicing sewing leather strips together, you know, cut out the middle man :)

It might be fun to play five finger fillet with your friends next time, you wielding the knife:p

Hope you heal up soon.

It sounds like you've got some friend there! Hopefully you get all patched up soon. Good luck on your surgeries

LOL...that sounds familiar...I bet most of us have experienced something simmilar...(miself included, not literally stabbed, but pretty often cut)...HEY..PICS OR DIDNT HAPPEN.

Working on the pictures.....my stupid router went out so I am limited to my phone right now. And trying to navigate photobucket from this is beyond my expertise. I'm waiting for a new picture also. Myself and another fella assisted in a motorcade for US Attorney General Eric Holder this morning. Had mixed feelings on that photo op........But it was cool hanging with FBI and their decked out suburbans.

Good luck with your future surgeries. I had a total knee replacement 6 weeks ago which turned out to be a lot more than I had anticipated. Thank goodness for pain meds.

Dang brutha, sounds rough. Hope you get through this in the best way possible.....you know totally out of it;):D

In all seriousness may it go really really well.

May you heal like Andrian Peterson and run like the wind:thumbup:

Ouch! Sorry to hear about the stabbing delaying your surgery :( How bad is the arm? Here's to hoping you heal up quick and get on with the rest of the nightmare few months you typed about.

It was "fairly" shallow....good thing that BONE got in the way and stopped it. Doc said I have minor muscle laceration, and because i still have significant strength he doesn't feel any exploratory surgery is required. Just a few stitches

And now my knee surgeon just informed me after seeing the MRI results. That I will need a meniscus implant also......just keeps getting better. So surgery 1 will be remove old hardware and install bone grafts from my hip into the voids. 2 surgery will be to remove a bit of my hamstring ( to be determined which hammy....usually opposite leg, but IED shrapnel passd through my left thigh and don't know if it's a viable option) and restitch my new shiny ACL. 3rd surgery will be a meniscus implant, but my doc doesn't do that and is referring me to a doc that does the NFL saints surgeries.....Next few months should be "fun" with physical therapy.
