Here it is on its way home. Man I am exited. Now I just need to wire up a 220 outlet at home and she will be up and running. Its a bader2 not three. It comes with a variable speed controller, 10" and 1 " contact wheels, and flat platen. This abig upgrade from my craftsman 2x42. I'll still use it as it has helped me make many knives.

I just tried to unload it from my truck but its too heavy. I'll wait for my buddy to help me out. Man this is the first time i spend this amount of money and don't feel guilty.

Congrats, Frank! I was pulling for you to get it. Merry Christmas; you're going to love working on that thing!

Very cool bud, that will be light years ahead of a 2X42!!!

You're gonna be freaked out at how much faster you can remove material with that sucker :D

That's really interesting on the tooling arms, I didn't realize they were set up like that. Looks really cool.

Have fun and keep us posted Frank!!! :D

My electrician buddy came by and hooked me up. The first thing I did was some finger choils. Sweet! Removed alot of metat with out getting as hot like the 2x42. I need a ceramic platen but that will have to wait as I put all my spare change into this grinder. I love it so far. Thanks guys.

I think the ceramic platen is subjective Frank. I know a lot of guys here love them, but I had one for quite awhile and didn't care for it. All it really did was help to shock the crap out of me when I least expected it... lol

A good hardened tool steel platen that you resurface every now and again is hard to beat IMHO :)
