Waterloo is about an hour from Dundee and is the largest park/SGA in the area.
Pt. Mouillee is off I-75 between the bridge and Dundee.

Maybe we just need to have an outing at Cabelas :D.
 
What kind of place do we need? There's a few hotel/motels walking distance from Cabelas in Dundee, they would have meeting rooms......several restaurants, some may have separate dining rooms......a couple VFW halls nearby where we may be able to converge on, first question they will have is "when?"
Or do we need a club house type situation at some park where we can go out and chop stuff up??:D
 
I think it should be mandatory to chop stuff up and build an unnecessarily big fire. :D
 
I may be able to attend, I live 1 mile from the MI border near Sylvania.

Depends when it is, though. Cabela's is always fun, as is the new BPS, although that is only half the size of Cabelas.
 
Offer of my property is still up for grabs if you guys want to drive alittle longer.
We have filet mignon, ATV's, and guns. :D (inside joke)

For some reason, I had visions of students dressed in red and grey, and others in blue and gold about to fight.

Ditto the fire and chopping, We could do it in the metroparks up here in Cleveland, but no guns or open fires ( except to cook in park Grills) and the rangers would probably frown on us waving knives and axes around
 
I'm interested! If someone is keeping a name list please put me on it as I don't always get time to read here as I would like. I also really love southern Ohio so when that gets going please let me know too! No promises right now as I'm a single dad so it's not always easy but I will sure try! Thanks...

macgregor22, what county is your land in? I went to college in Hocking and always try to get down there at least a couple times a year.
 
aww hell. Put me on the list too. If it is after Jan, I can go visit the family either before or afterwards.
 
Rupestris has a post on the Gatherings sticky at the top. You are supposed to e-mail him your interest in attending. As far as I know, a date hasn't been set but it looks like it will be early spring.

Just in case another gathering is kindled in Mac's "back yard," I want to say that you would be in the company of a truly good person and in one of the greatest spots in Ohio. Without going into the details, Mac' did right by me and my family,..... and I have never met him.
 
I was disappointed that I couldn't get down to mac's gathering but work is work.

I am interested in a gathering for this.
