Nice meeting you too Jack :) I did get to meet cprirtle and his Boss ;) great guy and nice toys he had... The show was a good one I thought but, just once I would like to go and not buy a knife- DARN you Darrel Ralf :D This was a first year show and no doubt will be even better next year. Nice place and people. I was in New York the week before and really liked this show.

It was great to meet all the locals from Ohio at the show.

Jaxurman, it's a shame that we were within feet of each other for so long and never talked. DDR was busy hard selling me on the Mini Madd Maxx I got from him ;) Man, I have not stopped looking at it since I got it:D

Tom Marker, Safety Guy, JTurner and Mike Yurko were great to talk to. All of the makers were class acts as well. Really enjoyed the S. African guys and their work is just breath taking. Aside from the one Bozo dealer who threw my TiNives Stars and Stripes knife across the room (nearly stabbing a woman in the leg) while he was trying to "flick" it open, every one was great.

I thouroughly enjoyed talking to John Greco, he is a great guy. I've never been that attracted to his knives but I will now buy one just because. Those little $25 friction folders he had were pretty cool too!

TallPaul, it was nice to finally meet you even if it was out in the cold parking lot. Besides we'll see each other again when DaleRich finally has that cookout :) What happened to Dale anyway?

I talked to one of the ladies at Koval today because I'm trying to track down one of the dealers that was at the show and she said they are definately having it again next year. It will be the weekend before Thanksgiving though.

I would recomend that anyone attend this show, it was a great time.

The only negative is that it was so close to the NY show that a lot of guys were out of stock. Hopefully as the show grows more makers will set aside some to bring back to the heartland. :)

Thought that was an excellent show. Nice facility in a fairly convenient locatiion. Was mostly impresssed with the quality of the dealers and the size of the crowd waiting at the door for the show to open. Hopefully the dealers sold well and will want to return again. Nice to have a show like this in Ohio.

Loved the show and enjoyed meeting Chad, his wife, Mickey Yurco, and Darrel's wife (missed the knife makin guy hisself :( ). I definitely want to go next year, so count me in!

All right guys, how's about some BladeForums t-shirts? I'm ex-mil, so I don't wear hats indoors! :p Either that or a BF TABLE!!!!:)

Next year I might even buy a REAL KNIFE from someone...aluminum trainers and warthog tusk keychains don't really count, do they?
