It's a BIG freakin' double rainbow...

Rainy/overcast at home today when my BIG Nano <BIG Nano? o_O> SFNO touched down...

so I moved it inside under the tangential fluro tubes in my garage

and then the heavens parted...

Love it! That's looks awesome! I'll take those light machine marks and grinder crosshatch patterns anyday! It beats the best coating job I've seen ever! Beautiful steel is a lot like a beautiful woman (or whatever you prefer) that doesn't need a paint job to look awesome :p

Almost makes me wish I hadn't ordered Satin -- the BIG finish looks that good.

What's the handle material and color -- black micarta?

Yes John, good eye...it's black canvas Micarta...primo stuff! :thumbsup:

Not only are the double disc ground flats spectacular, those coarse vertical striations on the primary grind are really, really handsome, IMHO.

This model could be THE ONE <for me>! :D
