Not sure where to post this, but here goes.

I'm looking for a one hand opening slippy; prefer about 2.75-3 inch blade (not a toothpick). I've seen the Spyderco
Tern, but not ever had a spydie. Is it a true slippy or just a detent? Is the wire pocket clip removable? Open to suggestions, but on a budget, circa $30. Not interested in linerlocks or lockbacks (have them). Don't seem to be anything else that I found that comes close. Closest thing I found is a Boker Plus City 1; love the blade style and steel. Bought it thinking a Kwik Stud would fit - it doesn't :-( Thanks in advance for any suggestions or sources.

The Tern is a good option, you might also see if you can snag a Boker Plus XS. They're now discontinued, but are decent knives that were well within your budget.

EDIT: Oops didn't see the budget. Nvm then

Spyderco also has the Urban, UKPK, SpyDK, and the PITS off the top of my head.

Thanks for the suggestions. Found a Boker Plus XS, but would have to regrind the back to give a straight blade (just my preference). The Spyderco Tern is interesting and have never had a Spyderco. So I think I'll go with that. Thanks again.
