Aloha,
Price: $400 shipped.
I have a Hiroaki Ohta Swayback Jack with very nice stag. I received it last year.
I carried it a couple of times in the pouch. I touched up the blade on a Sharpmaker. I cut off the top of a small cardboard box and unfortunately it left a hairline scuff on the blade. See photo. Also, there appears to be a small spot of corrosion about ¼ inch from the inside of the knife between the liner and backpring on the rear of the knife. The spot is less than 1 millimeter round. See photo for this too. I believe in full disclosure so you know exactly what you get for your hard earned cash.
If you have never handled one of Ohtas knives you should know that his spring tension is fairly solid. Not a nail breaker by any means. But, I prefer a softer pull like what Mike Alsdorf puts on his trappers.
Thanks for looking,
Dave
