It's definitely a great precaution measure for battling rust in humid areas! Anyone else do this?

I do. Toss in several packs into storage bins, especially with Safe Queens.

Just used Breakfree CLP on my folders. Good as any I imagine.

Ditto. It will clean out any gunk and never gum up. Great protection against corrosion. Very good synthetic lube. What the military uses for small arms.

I don't leave my knives anywhere damp enough that they would need this however i do put these in my toolbox in my shop to try keep that white mildew/dust off them during the season changes. Doesnt really work. I think they need to be in a sealed container.
