Oil quench for cpm s35vn ?

I am about to purchase some stainless 154cm from aldo and see the cpm s35vn is cheaper, in stock in the size I need and says its better in edge retention, machinability, and tougher. I read it cpm s35vn can be oil quenched like 154 cm but I did not see any information on how, or the speed of the oil needed. If I quench cpm s35vn in oil can I get it hard enough or must I quench with compressed air and aluminum plates?

This will be for a 4" long folder blade 1/8" thick.
 
154cm is significantly lower in performance than S35VN .S35VN is a CPM steel and has additional alloying elements to make it better !!
An oil quench is always faster than air or plate quenching. I assume that the oil quench suggestions are meant for large cross sections. With a blade I can't see much benefit to using oil. Plate quenching with cryo gives very high performance.
 
No need for oil in .060" blades. Just austenitize for 30-45 min, and plate quench in the foil.
