Oiling dodo

How do you guys oil your dodo?
I just got this knife and havent oiled it yet..do I just put it on the ball, or behind the blade or on the spring as well?

My Dodos work just fine without lube. If yours operates a little rough, I would try lubing the pivot sparingly. I've never put any on mine and it works great. Does your Dodo function okay?

If you oil the ball you're going to have a hell of a time closing the knife.

I run my Dodo completely dry. I clean it by spraying it with alcohol and wiping it down and that's the end of it. The pivot is set as it was from the factory with zero blade play and I can flick it open easily without even touching the blade. So yeah, real smooth without oil. The ball is the last place I would put oil.
