Have a great weekend!

That Baby Dui Chirra is my pick of the litter, and not because I'm the guy mentioned that don't have lots of money although that applies too. It sings! Course all them swords are head turners too.

Howdy folks.

What does “slight shrinkage of Horn handle” mean? Does it matter? Is there a do it yourself fix?

Thanks, Doug

Usually is just means that the horn has dried out and there's some proud metal. The butt cap might have extra metal at the edge, if it a full tang the might be extra metal top and bottom.
Sometimes soaking the handle helps rehydrate both wood or horn.
It's usually not a big deal to file the metal down to fit the horn or wood..
Pretty easy. A little sanding if you hit the handle and a buffer will bring the horn back to shiny out of the box condition in no time.

Thanks Bawanna.

If a listing doesn’t say “no Chakmak and Karda” does that mean they are included?

Doug

Yes, with the exception of the Village Utility Knives and the Tamangs which don't normally come with them.

EMS sent on 18 inch 33 ounce Ang Khola by Lachhu. Few hairline crack on horn handle. Steel cost at $95.

Great choice JH! Ive been pondering on that one myself. Now that Chainpuri is gettin pondered upon.

Yall know all you got to do to restore them oily sheaths is oil the rest of it. That Wakizashi is a great deal too. I have one by Yuvraj made about ten years ago and hes prolly only gotten better.

I just see even more character with the blems. Oily sheaths show a well taken care of blade.
Ndog, your collection(part of) is amazing!
I own roughly 60 knives but most are folders from my scouting days and for whittling. Time for a fixed collection!

I must be doing something wrong... email sent Friday 6/29 for the baby Dui chirra...

Chainpuri is “long gone”

You got no response at all? I'll fire off an email for ya. Yangdu sometimes doesn't get some emails for some reason.
I think it's an AOL thing. I'll get back to you.

Nope. It was later on Friday. I'm just not sure how this all works yet. Should I email himimp@aol.com for any questions on blades on the website? I was wanting an AK bowie along with the baby dui chirra (if still available). Are all blades on the website made to order? I hate being the odd ball but hey, I'm new... haha.
