More than the knife is awesome, the cause that 25% of the selling price went to is even greater. The Wounded Warrior Project were the ones responsible for giving me my first bit of clothing after lying in various hospital beds naked for 3 days (except 1 sock) after being wounded in Iraq.

I think there is an X-ray floating around somewhere that caused a little discussion once before Guyon edited it... Need to find that one for the picture files. But there was a blanket there also ....don't want it to sound like I was "exposed" for three days....

I can not believe that your bid stood. I was wanting it but it came up at a bad time as I'm working on something else. My buddy owned that for a bit (bought it off the original owner and then sold it back to him) and said it feels really good in the hand. I know for a fact that he paid a good chunk more (and resold it for the same) than what you paid.

It's a buyers market for the old straight handle stuff right now.

Lol, I remember when m67 sent me the link to that butter knife and as much as I wanted it at the time I held back because I knew he was wanting it.......bad.

Yeah well unfortunately for him I wanted it more. Taboot, prior to that he showed his true hog colors in a few ways that said to me, ok, this is war : )
its to thin and functional for him to truly enjoy as I have anyway. Had I got outbid (which I welcomed matt to) I wouldnt be crying about it for months later ; )

no sympathy or regrets.

Yeah, I've never helped you out or anything ;) And it can't be too functional, you still have coating left on it :p And true, it may be too thin, but it was the blade length and the oddity I liked the most. And I'm just jabbing when I mention the BK, not crying. Even though you'll be buried with it, least I have dibs. I just have a sad smile everyime I hold it :o


You take any comparison pics between the SOOEE and the BK yet?

Free? Only the SAR 3 was free. You charged me for the SHBA remember? And they do work quite well. And I warned you I don't touch Glocks and Smith and Wessons with locks for free, but since it was you I was going to make the exception on the Smith.

Heh, looks like I started a war.

M67 needs to lay off those small and thin butter knife type knives anyways and save up for his true calling, a MOAB.
