The Keychain is modular. I can attach several different groups of items on it like firesteel/metal match/small magnesium flint in leather sheath/ small Bic lighter using electric cable shrink tubing, or the lighting section with Arc AAA Photon 3 (RED and or White).

Regarding your daily carry keychain, how do you carry it? In a trouser pocket, hanging from your belt, or in a jacket pocket? If you work in an office, what is the general reaction of your co-workers when they see the keychain?

Cardimon,

I carry it from a 2" wide Swedish armybelt, beautiful strong natural color A+++ leather with all brass hardware.
The whole package hangs a little low and fits in my right pocket of my outdoor design pants that I wear (Royal Robbins, old North Face andother outdoor pants with large pockets.

My coworkers don't look strange, sometimes they make a joke, but 10 mituses later they needs a pair of sscissors, tweezers, fire or whatnot and I quickly learned them that making jokes doesn't really gets them the required item ;)

I even got them to start carry, Sliver gripper tweezers, Photon II/III's Glowrings, Leatherman Micra etc.

When I have customers in the office or need to visit customers it's strictly shirt/tie/dress pants and jacket and I move the EDC to my Filson MEdium field bag that I always carry :)
But I still have a large locking blade SAK Hunter in a small Eric Noeldchen Kydex neck sheath, the tie nicely hides the small bump.

Best Scouting wishes from Holland,

the little flask thing, if i am seeing correctly, is a relightable match.

you unscrew the cap to produce a metal tube with a wick in it, the case itself is full of lighter fluid.

I have a permanent match on my pocket keyring rig. To make one of these more comfortable to carry in your pockets, take and file all the 90 degree angles. (Basically rounding all the corners.) This makes it a lot more comfortable for EDC.

My pocket keychain (no pics or place to host them):

Swiss Champ
Permanent match (Colghans)
Uncle Bill’s silver grippers
Arc LSH-S
REI compass/thermometer
All on a stainless steel twisty keychain

I love my SwissChamp, but the screwdriver bits make my CyberTool 41 more useful. I tried making my SwissChamp the centerpiece of my keychain, but it's so heavy it acted more like an anchor! So I attached my Midnite MiniChamp II, instead.

When working (on a ship) aluminium carbiner hooked from the belt loop with SAK hunter + led-lenser led light (a freebie from a contractor) + various keys. They all have their split rings and I can take out of the carbiner the what I need, everything fits in the back pocket with only the carbiner sticking out.

At home Arc AAA + com-tech stinger on the key ring, emerson la griffe + comtech stinger in the jeans right front pocket, greco falcon in the back pocket (or in pack).

When at home I usually carry a pack becasue of the added bulk of wallet, sunglasses, cell phone, scooter keys and documents (either a fat-boy or a fanny pack) so most of the times keys + large knife are kept there.

(sorry no pix)
I also have a large sebenza but I am too much of a chicken when it comes to exposing a 350 USD knife to the risk of being confiscated by police.

Sproles, how do you like that Hideaway? I would like to get one for work carry. But, they seem a little pricey. Are they worth the money? Also I will be getting my XD Sub. 9mm next week :)
