OK Admit it... Who shops on-line at work
If your doing anything remotely boring (Like I do) shopping on-line is a daily thing.
So where are you when you satisfy your Knife Cravings?

I do service plumbing so I don't really have time at work to shop. However, if I had an office job, I know that id be shopping around

My work requires hands on personal attention with customers so shopping is a no go. BUT at home it's a whole different story. :D

At work.

At home.

On the go.

Do them all regularly. I have my own business so not a big deal.

When I'm in the office I'm too busy. Even if I wasn't too busy, the Corporation I work for has blocking and tracking software on their network. I shop at home and since I got my smart phone, occasionally on the run.

Not a snowballs chance in hell for me at work. I am nowhere near a computer during my 8-12 hour work shift. Barely have the time to go to the bathroom. All my shopping takes place at home with a cold beer:D

"Other"

I shuffle into the brick and mortar knife or hardware store, throw money down on the counter and primitively gesture at the knife I want, grumbling "gimme dat, yeah... dat one."

At work I installed a Barracuda Webfilter over a year ago. With that pretty much all gun and knife related content have been blocked out, along with sports and any sort of smut you can conceive of. However, there is a single port open on the filter for bladeforums on my PC. I look and buy online from home.

I shop IE: Research at work but usually buy at home...
Always want some time to elapse before pulling the financial trigger

I do some Amazon book shopping at work, during lunch breaks. I've bought a few knives on ebay that way as well.
But dedicated knife-related sites are blocked by the corporate firewall (one of several blocked categories, for example computer games are blocked as well), so most of my knife surfing and subsequent buying happens in the evening at home.

I mostly shop online, but I have to give props to my local knife dealer Cecil Clark Cutlery. I have never been there and had bad customer service, and somehow I get a lot of free sharpening, even though it's supposed to be about $2-5 a blade. I also can't say enough about their inventory which is extensive. Never found a blade they didn't have or couldnt get!
