Hi fellow Buck nuts,

Marry Christmas to every one of you. I hope your day was wonderful and that each of you got to spend the day with your family/friends.

This Christmas was a bitter sweet time for our family. You see my father passed away on Saturday....hence bitter sadness at the loss of a truly great and loved man. Sweet that our family pulled together and were able to enjoy this special day....though my Dad was not here physically he sure was here spiritually. I saw him in my siblings and in my children...in their eyes, their moments and their mannerisms. My Dad had the best since of humor and all of us got that from him...and there was plenty of laughter today. The food (recipe's) that was prepared for diner was all learned from Dad's cooking techniques. My advice to each of you is to enjoy every moment you get to spend with your family/friends because life/love/friendship is a gift so use it wisely.

Ok...enough of that!!!! So what cool stuff did you get for Xmas;):D. It was a wonderful day for me:thumbup: Happy kids and grandkids running around and enjoying each other!!!!

I got some cool stuff today.....You see that wonderful lady who shares her life with me.....got into my computer  and searched out a member of our Buck forum fraternity:eek:. That's right she was sneaking around behind my back and even made email contact on the sly with one of my BBBF's:mad::grumpy:. You see this was not a one time affair....No...it went on and on...many emails....Was there a fox in my hen's house???? LOL...they were working on finding me a Buck knife for my collection that I would like and did not have!!!!! I am the proud owner of a new Buck Intrepid;):D:thumbup: It's too cool for school!!!!! Now will the BBBF who worked with my little lady to pull off this surprise please stand up!!!!! This was the prize of the day!!! Oh yea....I also got 6 other Buck knives. Sorry guys I'm keeping this little lady.

Fun Deal on the Intrepid JB!!!! I know your Dad was there watching over all of you!! I am glad you had the forumites here to post and banter with the last few days. I know you must have needed the diversion at times. Our thoughts have been with you!

I didn't get a new Buck, but I gave an old one. Was a joyful thing for me. I talked about it down the page in the Merry Christmas thread.

Glad you all had a wonderful Christmas!!

Your thoughts helped keep thing in perspective for me....and came when I was just getting over the shock and starting to greave. Larry & Dave thank you for being you!!!! It's nice to be part of this group of Buck nuts....a group of pepole who truely care about others.

I recieved a 503 Prince from my wife, it is a really beautiful knife but I will have to take it back to Wally World and exchange for another. The fit on this one is way off. Oh well, it gives me a reson to go look at some more knives.

Got the 110 Founder's Edition that I bought a month ago and handed to my wife. Made her job easier and I got what I wanted.

Hi John, I'm sorry to hear of your loss here at Christmas. I sense your father was a great man, in the fact that his presence was felt, and the fact that you have a family that gathers for Christmas.
No new knives for me, but I did order the Chipflint 112. My sons and nephews all got plenty of new knives

My wife suprised me with a rosewood Alpha Hunter in ats34 !

I got lucky as that it matches my Alpha Mini in ats34 and both have the Idaho date stamp. Was pretty pleased with that :)

John so sorry to hear of you families loss, your family is in my prayers. May you always have him in your heart.
I gave out 12 Buck knives this year, received one Cabelas gift card that will have to be turned into a 120 or AG 110. Oh and must not forget the 110 Founders Edition that my dog got for me.

Slap me but I have to ask what is BBBF’s
