Ok BBBF's what did you get for Xmas????

JB, so sorry to hear about losing your father. I lost my father two years ago about this time as well. It is hard. I wish you and yours all the comfort and peace possible.

Santa was especially good to me this year. :D I told him about my interest in the Buck Vanguard and would you believe there were THREE under the Xmas tree with my name on them. Picts to follow.

One was the Blue Moose like the picture posted by Honesttom.
HonestTom, do you have any info on this knife?

Supposedly a "special knife for Buck employees only for this Christmas". Anyone know more about this knife? Came with no information in the box and wasnt in a Limited Edition box like I thought it might be. :o Santa snatched this one from the EvilBay so not sure about its pedigree.:o

Happy New Year to All!

Buck bro's,

I finally succumbed to the fever of the Vanguard!

Elk, Deer, Moose. The Elk is #787 of 2000

Nice vanguards! I really like those handles! Be careful though, your on a slippery slope....
Lots of handle and laser cutout variations in that model ;)

This Christmas was a bitter sweet time for our family. You see my father passed away on Saturday....hence bitter sadness at the loss of a truly great and loved man.
John,
I know how difficult your loss is and I have been remembering you and your family in my prayers ever since I learned of your dad's passing. I lost my father in 1991. I hope the presence of all your family helped to counter the pain from the loss.
Mike

My condolences to you and your family, John and Tami. 'Tis better to have loved and lost.... for now, as we have a hope eternal!
For Christmas? I bought myself an inverted three-liner, large serrations, 124 with gray micarta scales. Now that my beard is in fact white, I do pretty well as a jolly old fat man wouldn't ya' say?

Hi BBBF's,

Cool to hear that some very nice Buck knives were given new homes. Tom & Harry the hoe3 that 192 blue moose is an awesome looking knife....those are to much $$$$ for me must be because moose sounds like goose and he is priceless!!!! OK...how about some new photo's of those new additions to our family...102 signed by Chuck, gray 124 with theeth, 503, 110's, 112's, ATS34 Alpha, Kalinga Pro, Dave can shine some light on this subject with his new 17,000,000 power spotter ;)!!!!

Thanks for all of your heart felt words guys. I know that my Dad is truly at peace now in heaven with family and friends. He was suffering from Alzheimer disease. His death was not unexpected and I know he did not want to be in that condition. I just hope I can emulate what he showed and taught me over the years.

Jb, truly sorry to hear about your Dad. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
It was a Buck Christmas around here.
Got a 303 Cadet,a 316 Parralex and a 525 classic from Cabelas.
The Parralex carrys nicely and seems to be well made and the Cadet goes without saying. The classic is my new dress knife.
