OK Emerson guys...

I would wait for a decent deal on the exchange so you can try some out without making too big an investment.

I wear a size 9 glove however I didn't like the feel of the horseman in hand. I have come to like the handle of the 7 and carry a commander almost exclusively now. Also the Tiger/13 handle fits me quite well.

I haven't held any of the micro models. For some there is a fine line between too small, just right, and too big. As I said myself and the horseman didn't get along but the regular 8 might be a different story. This if the great thing about Emerson's. There is almost definitely one you will love the ergo's of.

I've had all three both and ironically gave both of the smaller ones (the regular 8 and the Horseman) away to folks who wanted and deserved an Emerson but did not have the cash.

Of the two, the regular CQC8 was by far my favorite. It is a "happy medium" as my dad would call it. I was underwhelmed by the Horseman and the Super was really big but a great knife. It's pretty large, just so you know.

But for EDC, in my opinion the regular 8 is the ticket.

Alright, I'm gonna be watching the exchange, looking for the medium or super, if anyone knows of one for sale, please contact me by leaving a visitors message on my profile, thanks guys!

Awesome man! You won't regret it! Personally I like to carry the minis edc, and the normal size for at home use.

I'll weigh in.

The horseman was great, but too small for me. The CQC8 is one of those "just right" knives that has a huge love group. I was really surprised by the Super 8. It fit my hand really well. I was amazed how the super 8 disappears in the pocket. I always carry the largest knife that I can carry while not be so big that I'll leave it home. The super 8 is one of those knives you throw in your pocket or IWB and don't notice it. I had the super 8, which is a large knife, in my pocket for 20 minutes. I was talking to a couple guys and thought "did I leave it on the table?". I reached down and it was in my pocket.

I think you really can't got wrong. The 8 design has a very minimal foot print. Best Regards and let us know what you decide.
