They are real beauties and I just had to show 'em to you all since my wife doesn't give one pile of knat S*** about knives. Both knives are in S30V.

What do you think?

Me thinks someone made you an offer on a couple of BCCI fundraisers that you couldn't refuse..

hummm .... have to stop ... cant afford any more knives... wife will skin me !!!
have to stop looking at knives i don't have and want... have to stop...

A rare pair for sure ...The 112 is on my 'must find' list....the only 112 in S30V ??/

Very nice!

That was something I was just thinking about actually. Wish the Custom Shop offered a drop point blade option!

Sweet,I guess my dream of getting a 110 with a drop point is never gonna happen.Living in Canada sux sometimes .:jerkit:

Very Intuitive Pack Rat. He also had these two that I just couldn't pass on either (my wife is going to kill me if she figures out what I just layed out for these four knives today). Guess I'll be eating egg shells & coffee grounds for a few months :D

Thank you all for the nice comments. I'm very pleased myself and broke but couldn't let them go as I might not got that chance again .... as in ever again.

Guyon,

I think the only way is to find a Life Member who is letting his collection go.

Wow...Sure is a lot of interest in those two...

I guess like the others here, I'll have to keep an eye on eBay and see if anybody else is selling theirs off... :)

Maybe even add those two to my "Saved Search" list... ;)

In a year and a half of looking and searching for rare/odd 112s ONE set has been for sale....$375.00 ????????? And no single 112 or 110......Does anyone here know of a 112 in S30V ? I think thats the only one....

The very thought of two drop points falling into my lap.......causes my voice to get higher.

Ouch.

Bucksway,

Its the fact they are S30V blades that really hooked me. I like the drop point but would have snapped them up in clip point too. I have never seen a 112 other than this one in a higher grade steel other than the damascus I have in stag. BTW, $375 seems cheap for the set if you consider a custom 110 S30V in stag is $225. Add in the drop point relative unavailability and the fact that the 112 is practically one of a kind (how many sets did they make?) ... and that price certainly seems worth it. I did pay less but close to that number.

I was wondering when someone was going to get around to that thought. :D

Generally, I'm not a huge Buck fan, although I do own a few. I don't have ANYTHING against them at all, I just don't happen to own that many of them. But, having said that, those are AWESOME knives!
