I figured this was as good a time to start a thread for what you all got for Christmas in the way of knives.

I listed my thanks for two knives I got from friends here. And the wife got me another ET from Kershaw that surprised me which is kind of ironic because I got her a rainbow blade ET too so that was kind of funny. I got my son an ET also. It made me feel bad though since he said he cut himself with it when he started playing with it. I guess that proves he inherited his father's inability to read and watch directions first! :D

Anyway, when you browse back in for a visit tell us what ya got!

Moore Maker Trapper with Buffalo Horn scales, and a
Benchmade Nitrous 913D2 Stryker.

Really, really like both of them.

And how different they are from each other.

Rifon I always did like horn but I sure hate working it myself. Stuff warps so easy it just doesn't jibe well with me most times. I have several knives in it that I really like though. Moore Maker is nice. I have a dealer near me here that I get to see and handle a few from. He really likes them and they sell quite well.

Three (3) Sebenzas :D.

Carolyn got me a large blue dog paw Classic (I knew it was comin'). I got her a small silver dog paw Classic (she didn't know it was comin'). And I got me (just because I like me so much) a small plain regular for EDC.

The dog paw Sebbies have our dogs' spare identity disks attached to the lanyards.
 
I got a Kershaw Storm II. I gave my B-I-L a list of knives to pick from for under $50 (we draw names). He got me the Storm, and he asked for the same thing from my mom. After getting it I looked on here and saw your great reviews of the knife. I like it a lot, it's just a little bigger than I'm used to. Maybe this will get me on a big knife kick instead of the smaller blades I've been loving.
 
Santa ("me",lol) got me a Bradley "Alias I". Seriously thinking about having "STR" do a custom job on it, but I'm a "noob", and not quite sure what is available. Love the knife, first "fancy" folder I ever owned. All the other EDC knives have been Bucks & Kershaws.
 
I got a Spyderco kerambit from my mother, and I bought myself a Hinderer XM-18 3 incher, with black scales, an extra orange scale, and a flipper!
 
I got a great conversation with an old friend and his wife. Oh yeah and a cool blade on the way.:D Merry Christmas S&A and happy new year too.
 
From a GREAT friend on the forum, I got this as a present. A John Howser modified wharnie. Could not believe it. Still do not.

Also a custom sheath with ostrich inlays to carry it in, the sheath has a great belt clip, Really nice combo. Sheath not shown but by Paul Long of Texas.

My wife gave me a small, regular Sebenza. I carried it at work the day after Christmas. This may sound strange but I was happy when I noticed that I had somehow scuffed up the finish a little. It's no longer perfect so I won't talk myself into putting it up in my safe instead of using it!
 
Battle scars are a necessary evil with knives. Its good to go now.

James that is a beauty! Love that stag and I really like small signitures that don't take up a lot of space or stand out to take away from the knives.

flipper Whiplash & a STR modified (wave) Spyderco Civilian.

A Krein Ultimate Caper in CPM M4. Very thin, very sharp, very nice.

Well, better late than never! Reese Weiland just finished a blade in S90V with an oval opener hole for my small sebenza. Was supposed to be a wharny but communication problems and I a regular blade. Still love it though and lockup and opening is perfect! Sorry but I had uploaded this at the CRK firums and won't let me upload here..???
