I have no clue who this guy is, but the Buck 110 is always the answer
My grandmother owned a buck 110, so why not this guy who obviously means something to the knife world.

Pick up a copy of fear and loathing in Las Vegas to get yourself started, you can find them all over the place for a few bucks. I must have read that book at least a dozen times. HST's writing style is just fantastic.

I think it was one of God's own prototypes. Some form of mutant knife to weird to carry, to rare to lose.

I've lived in the Roaring Fork valley for over 40 years, right near Woody Creek where Hunter called home (Owl Farm).
Wasn't aware of any favorite knife of his, but he was fond of a 12 gauge pump for carry. Even had one in his golf bag on the local course in Aspen for "pesky Canada geese".
True story...

In something I read in the early 70's, I think Rolling Stone, he was using a Gerber Shorty. Really liked how incredibly sharp it was.

Always saw him as a stiletto guy, but I can see him with an Al Mar.
