Thanks for the guidance, TBL. My wife had picked up a PP1 as sort of a pre-knife present. It sharpened my Victorinox, but I don't think I want to use it on the bigger knives unless it's field conditions. Guess it's time to find me a few good stones. I think I have one somewhere, father-n-law's Christmas present some time back, but not sure where. Time to clean out the shed.
