Ok, help me pick a handle for this recurve Bowie!

i think i have a buyer for this one and he's leaning toward some Ebony (Katalox) that I have. Its a very dark brown/black with some "shimmer" to it, and tough as all hell.
 
I think some olive/brown burlap micarta would look good but I bet that Ebony would be nice too.
 
Matt - Katalox is some great wood. Dense, solid, beautiful stuff. I hope you'll post a shot of the finished knife! Love the blade profile and hamon too, by the way
 
Nice blade! The "camiteo" is properly spelled camatillo, it is one of the rosewood (dalbergia) species and is one of the less common ones you see on knives. I think it would look good on this knife, but I might be tempted to look for some Gaboon ebony with some of that smoky grey figure, to accent the hamon. A wood with too much contrast will compete with it and draw the eye away, IMO.
