Ok, here is what I want from Spyderco

Hi Powernoodle,

I agree with you that the G-10 Endura is a fine piece of cutlery in a class by itself. But I'm biased. ;) We've spent many yeras refining and evolving the design and most of the problems have been sorted. I would have no problem making them again, but as mentioned the price point is the tough part. The Yen is very strong right now (about 25% stronger than the dollar). Also the Endura uses USA made G-10 which must be shipped to Seki.

I'll take another look at it, bit I don't think we can get to that $100 target. And that was and "Powernoodle Blue"?

Since we make a red trainer for the Endura model, I'd probably steer away from the red version to keep our cops and MBC guys safe.

A flicker of hope! :D:thumbup:

I love the Paramilitary 2. It's my favorite knife. I would love to see a Para 2 sprint run with titanium handle scales. As for the blade steel, CPM S110V would be awesome. If they did a sprint run like this... I would buy as many as I could.

aha! multi-national manufacturing operations always have a foreign exhange risk to them. companies try to be flexible by sourcing raw mats from countries where the currency is at present weakening agains the dollar but spyderco has constraints. it can't shift the manufacturing of a product elsewhere, nor can it opt to source basic materiers from secondary suppliers.

in that case, it's a matter of timing. yes, there is hope.

Black or orange G10 options wouldn't hurt either ;)

You could always roll your own.

He means the G10 endura specifically

Ah ok, thanks. Had me wondering.
I really didn't care for the G10 Endura, but "failed" still seems a bit strong.;)
Guess I'm odd, but I like the FRN handles.
Only Sal would know how well the G10 sold vs. the FRN.

I for one would like to see it make it's way back into the catalog. Sprint run, regular model. Just as long as it makes it's way back.

Here's the beast. I'd like black G10 and ZDP-189. Blue G10 would be ok.

I'm not a big Endura guy but I love my G10 Endura. Yes, I like the color too. Having a G10 option on most FRN models was a great idea & I hope it becomes economically feasible again. Powernoodle, have you considered buying a trainer & swapping blades? Someone here might take the frankenstein trainer off your hands at cost if it has purple scales...

Bring back the G-10/FFG! I'll pay extra, that endura (and Delica) sprint in foliage green was about as close to perfect as I can imagine. But then Spyderco's are making me broke already...

I've carried one quite a bit since the thread began. Nice piece. We'll look into current costs next week.
