Yep. This one is my first 8 & I'm happy as hell to have it! As for a production waved version: That would be INCREDIBLE! I hope there is a possibility of that down the road.

YES!!!! I would LOVE to see a production Waved CQC-8!! It's my all-time favorite Emerson. I missed out on the one Michael got. :( Oh well...another will come along...someday...

You are indeed nuts amigo, but it has nothing to do with wanting to carry an 8 as an EDC. I would have a tough time making that call as well. A used 8 would be easier, but to bust the cherry of a minty fresh one would be tough (but fun too).
And to add my voice to the crowd shouting for a production waved 8, I say: pretty please.

Heh. Thanks for the reminder on my mental "StAbIlItY"...LOL. Yeah, I haven't popped a cherry in a LONG time...guess being married & true to one's loving wife will do that to a guy... I think popping the 8's cherry will have to suffice...:D

Are you planning on making it to the March NYC show? It would be cool to get together with ya. We can get Gray's & hit the Slaughtered Lamb again...

I'm stacking up nickels & dimes for the March show- I'm in VA for now & will have to fly up & maybe even bunk w/ the ex again like I did for the November show. Gray's hotdogs topped off w/ a couple of pints @ the Slaughtered Lamb sounds like a plan. See you there.
