OK I am sold, BUT

Thanks brother. It's the Bush Crafter model by Brian Andrews. It is the most comfortable blade I have ever taken with me into the bush. Cuts through wood like a lazer.
 
50rod a knife alone is probably a very bad idea for a last resort on a bear attack issue.

But as people said earlier, getting one big knife probably will not solve all your needs.
