Left for work this morning with a light snow falling, a little breezy but no big deal.

Move ahead a few hours, and ridiculous. High winds, roads are almost drifted over and close white out conditions. I have had enough. Can you sign up for global warming? I will take it right about now. A drive that usually takes about 5 minutes became a 25 minute adventure.

The only good news is that my arctic white Nmfsh should blend right in once I have a chance to get it done.

Send it my way!!!! I live in northern Mississippi now, but I'm originally from NW Pennsylvania. I actually miss the winter up there. Here it just gets cold with hardly any snow. BUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I want some snow!

So long as it doesn't happen while I'm at work again, closing down the base means it takes me 2-3 hours just to get off base...

But I'd love some snow when I'm not at work.

If I could I would gladly send it to you. I like snow but not when it is blowing at 40 mph.

You don't want to be out in that. Guess you should pound some coffee and work through the night. Always putting your safety first ;) :D
 
Depending where you're standing, we had anywhere from 11" to 13.5" inches.

Real thick dense stuff too, great for fishtailing on the roads or building snowmen.......in the middle of the road :D :D
 
Drove home today with the convertible top down. It was stuffy in the house so had to turn the air conditioner on. Sat in the yard with the dogs while the steaks grilled. Came in the house and put a tee shirt on to eat dinner. --Fort Lauderdale

I would like to see one good one this year. Very light snow here right now.

Hey Garth, here were suppose to get a foot or more, I love it. Time to get out the snowmobiles finally. We have had snow here a few times but rained each time after it snowed. It's staying this time Yeah!!
 
hey we had over 10k people without power the last week up here, and about 1500 without it over Christmas, still a few without. So i feel your pain we only went 24 hrs my friends went 64 without.Be safe out there! I know southern MI is getting slammed right now.
 
I love the snow. I just hate having to go outside to get more wood for the wood burner. Seems there is always a three foot drift right in front of the wood pile. :(
