OK I have had enough snow.....

I'm pretty happy with the snow up here right now (not too much, but enough for skidoos), for the last three or four years we've had a brown Christmas. If you think Canada is bland when everything is frozen and covered in snow, you should see it when everything is frozen and not covered in snow.

Chance of more tonight. Atleast the wind has stopped for the most part and the drifting over the roads has been taken care of.

Yay!!!! It's snowing again!!!

Now I can just lay back and really not watch the highway department not do anything

Supposed to hit 28 tonight!!!

They would normally cancel school if it got that cold ....if we weren't already out for Christmas break. No chance of the white stuff though.

One of my neighbors has some guests over from florida. They've been there for almost a month. And they are totally unused to the "cold". It was like 50 out, and they are wearing pants and a light wintercoat. It was kinda funny because I'm a pretty warm person, and I was wearing shorts and a tshirt. I'm one of those people who OPENS their windows in the winter because it's hot. We just got a few inches overnight, and it's still snowing very slowly, and some guys out there with his 2 stroke blower, it's so loud.

We got hit with more snow last night. The roads were nice and slick this morning. I'm not upset though, we finally have enough to safely take the snowmobiles out and have a good time. It's not that junk snow that won't pack either, it's the good packing snow. I think I see a snowball fight happening today.:D I'm excited

This is ohio, we supposed to have snow, its daggone december/ january!!! Bring it on! Getting more tonight, yaaa baby! My favorite time of the year.

Snow.... what is this mythical substance you speak of..?? I got SUNBURN yesterday laying out while the dogs destroyed the dog park.... :D

Finally after shoveling snow onto the snowmobile trail for the past 3 weeks its pretty good. Whole hillsides were shovelled onto the trail to cover rocks and irregularities. It took many trips harvesting snow and filling the sleds with snow, and then towing them to bare spots on the trail to cover them. There is only 5 inches on the ground, with next to nothing under heavy forest cannopy areas. No snow in the forecast, it does not look good for the upcoming fire season. We have been in a drought for over a year now.

Well we finally got enough snow to get the old sled out. There wasn't a lot of snow but just enough to get the skis shined up a bit. After having the motor completely rebuilt she is running better than ever.

Here she is.

Got our first good snowfall here, about 10 inches fell last night.

Glad to see that Lora and PrivateEyes have the right attitude.

It's Winter in the Northern hemisphere, Embrace the Snow!

What's the matter, Garth? Can't that Hummer handle the drifts? :-D
