OK I have this overwhelming urge to give away an RD9

It has seen alot of use, it has been hot blued instead of painted. There is a spot on the blade where it is wavy on the edge, chopped some stuff that was pretty tough, hammered it back as straight as I could. The sheath has had some of the Kydex cut out, it was breaking.

Anyhow my point is that I would like to give it to someone that could really use it and can't afford a larger blade. It is still in good shape as you can see.

If this is not in the right place move the thread, thanks

I certainly could and would use it. Im not a charity case, but I dont have the opportunity to buy many knives these days with family responsiblities.

Hardheart can you find me his info. Thanks

J Curd, let me know what your uses may include, it might goto you.

Ok thanks I emailed him. I want it to go to someone who really will and can use it. So I am open to anything

Wow....I would LOVE to have that knife... ;)

Been looking for a chopper too, and this one is a beauty!

Psycho78, what may qualify you for it, are you a student or limited in funding yet still enjoy the chopping, or need it for a job etc.... let me know

What an awesome gesture !!!!!!!! This is why I love this place , such big hearts.

I hope whoever gets that beauty gives it love and a good home.

Man, something like that would certainly come in handy.....a storm recently took down ALOT of large tree branches in my backyard, and I have no way of chopping them up, to make ridding of them easier. Not to mention winter will be here extremely soon, and it somehow needs to be done before that.

I think it's very nice of you to donate something to people in need, i'm sure whoever you give it to will be very thankful.

Well...I'm a young man turning 26 on October 27th. I just now graduated college. It's been hard for me finding a job right out of school, and I'm just barely making it right now. I love knives. I've loved them since I was a kid. I read all the magazines and know all the makers, but dont have the money for any knives of my own to show for it. I really do love that style of knife, and living here in Kentucky I could certainly find some good uses for that big blade. I'd certainly appreciate it.

Why don't you email me P78, Jeff you as well. I might have something for both of you.

im only 12 and get $5 weekly pocket money, but would sure like a knife like that so that i can have a bigger knife than my dad, at the minute i just have a buck bantam and a victorinox classic.
Ps I am not pit man thats my dad but he says I can reply to this.

The RD9 will be going but I still have a small well used Fallkniven blade think it is a wm1, little thing, about 3" blade, but holds a great edge and has a leather sheath.

Okay Jeff will be getting the RD9 and Psycho78 will be getting a Knives of Alaska cleaver/caper set in leather with the rubber grips. Both of them sounded as if they could use them both. Thanks everyone.
