See James Mattis 8/4/00 0936 post under "Kelgard? Sebenza's?"

Well, Chris himownself said just above James' post:
"...because I am developing an exciting new product....".

So to quote a famous Jewish knife dealer, "Whatizzit, whenizzit, howmuchizzit?"

Any guesses?

Anybody heard anything they want to get off their chest?

CRK? Any hints?

Or, in the absence of premature "leaks" or "real rumors," we could post our own nifty ideas for exciting new products CRK can do, as soon as they're caught up on Sebenza orders, that is.

Should I start with a CRK Puukko wish? Hmmmm... I've begged that one in too many places elsewhere in the forums, so I'd probably sound like a broken record.

Could it be the Reeve/Microtech collaboration mentioned in the latest issue of Blade?

I am sticking to the wish for a Warncliffe Sebenza, no matter how many times I have to repeat myself

I want my CRK Wharncliffe more like a stretched Umfaan, I think. Slim. Somewhere between a small Sebenza and an Umfaan. It's a very good urban blade shape - not too many dead herbivores to skin out, and not a lot of whittling to do, but lots of packages to open, as well as paring-knife duty.

Of course, I do have the William Henry S07 for that, but it's not quite the same.

ok, I'm still with the 2 James' here! A CRK Puukko! And a Warncliffe Sebenza!
biggrin.gif
The latter with the small sebenza handle... that way they would only need to do different blade. (The lock end of the blade has to be rotated a few degrees for the warncliffe blade to fit in to the handle. I.e. so that it's not rotated too far into the handle.) Man, I just don't have the money!

Oh, and offer the 'office' sebenza with some nice other-than-wood (CF?) inlay too.

(Again the small woodinlay handle works fine)

You guys are too funny!!! What would we do without you!!? Mark is on vacation this week and I realized that it was Thursday already and I had not been into the Forums - oops!

Anyway, I'm not going to say a word - the news will be out soon enough! It is always interesting to read your "wish lists" though so feel free.......!

Anne

Anne, Can't be "soon enough," as that would mean it was revealed in your post. So how long to "soon?"

(As the car full of luggage and children leaves the neighborhood and heads up the on-ramp onto the Interstate....)

Are we almost there yet?

Lets see ... an au...Naw! This forums' been there and back, and plenty of other people do mechanical complexity very well anyway.

Megafol... Naw! We've been there and back too. I'll go over to the Benchmade Forum and beg for a 6" fully serrated recurved bread knife in an Axis Lock.

And I suppose a dangler sheath for the 4" small Mountaineer or Shadow would give you a heavy-duty puukko, like the Fällkniven H1.

But how long has it been since anybody here lobbied for a CRK Integral Lock folder with a Spyderco blade hole? I think I just did.

With tip down carry.

Just to add fuel to the fire... How about a Stainless Damascus spear point bladed sebbie with stainless damascus inlayed handle? Now that would be cool!!

Put me on that list.

Just drilling a hole in a Sebenza blade wouldn't do it. The Sebenza's shape works with a thumb stud. We're imagining a whole new knife here.

How about a $150 Cheapenza?

Seriously, it very well may have something to do with a 9.5" fixed blade, an extra-large sebenza or, (fasten your seat belts) a CRK multi blade or (get your Oxygen masks ready) a CRK multi-tool.

Maybe a CRK dive knife?
