I live in Monticello, GA, was born in Duisburg, West Germany though spent most of my life in Kaiserslautern (K-Town) West Germany.

Hi all,
How funny to see the diverse locations as well as some very close to home.

Mike- You are correct, I am within 1 mile of Patrick AFB, just across the Banana River from us. Also, we will be working in the yard or on our tennis game, when....another launch goes up and we get a spectacular view! Two nights ago we saw the night launch from our living room, always breathtaking, even with the frequency they occur.
Dr. Lathe- I'll wave to you when I pass by on the way to Tampa to visit the In-Laws.
I heartily recommend a NIGHT launch viewed from the Cape or at least Titusville's Indian River shoreline, you'll never forget the impact it makes upon you. It's well worth the trip.

My wife and I cleared out just enough of the trees to build our house on the eastern shore of the largest lake just west of Knoxville Tennessee(where the 1st few Blade Shows were held)on the land I grew up on. 3/4 of a mile down through the woods on a 13ft. wide blacktop road if you miss our driveway you'll end up in the lake. Friends comes down sometimes to shoot with me on the little pistol range I've got off my back porch or soak in the hot tub on the front porch while the sun sets across the lake. Yep, I'm disgustingly lucky.

Live in Overland Park, Kansas (stones throw from the Kansas/Missouri state line. (Kansas City would really like to annex us). Born and raised in Kansas, left for military, returned 6 years later, been here ever since. Do travel with the job though.
 
Born and raised in Weatherford TX, lived in Southern CA for 26 years, moved back to TX in 1991. Now live in Melissa TX.

Then I go in the military, score the 4th highest asvab in Jacksonville MEPS history and am told I can go anywhere and do anything. So I pick Europe. They sent me to the Phillipines!
