i'm not a hunter but the MUK will be the coolest food prep knife i own, when i can get my hands on it :thumbup::thumbup:

I'll bet Jerry would make some if about twenty of you guys did this with the Busse version just underneath. :D

Its a good skinner and great food prep knife design - my Scrap Muk is really the only knife I use in the kitchen regularly (another +1 for the knuckle clearance). The really stout tip also makes me happy.

I also just love the traditional lines and look!
 
Here's my one and only Nessie pattern, by Dan Koster. This is one heck of a little slice and dicer.

If you read Nussmuk's book, he says it's for skinning and eating. And that's about all he says. He does some light work with his folding pen knife.

The majority of his bushcraft and other work was done with his hatchet, which he goes into quite a bit of detail about.

It always amazed me that people go crazy over the knife he didn't seem to care much about, but few go for one of the hatchets like he had.
